A poem of place, connection and identity.
Shannon Kenny, social entrepreneur and published author. She began her career as a historian and has worked as a freelance writer, editor, and educator in the fields of history, social sciences, and social justice for over 20 years. In 2018, Shannon founded technology startup Prontopia (Alliloop.io), to solve workforce supply gaps in caregiving jobs. Informed by the Indigenous women's leadership activism of her mother, Carolyn Kenny, Shannon's work seeks to restore balance to the interplay of technology and society by recognizing where technology companies have forsaken human connection to each other and to the land for short-term gains focused on minimizing human effort.
