Abstract

This paper critically examines the transformative power of holistic education in addressing the needs of students within higher education environments. By synthesizing critical pedagogy, intersectionality, and culturally responsive pedagogy, it introduces the Holistic Enrichment and Inclusive Learning (HEIL) Framework. This framework, which prioritizes the holistic well-being of students, incorporates culturally responsive practices such as trauma-informed care and restorative justice. The integration of these diverse educational practices aims to transform higher education institutions into spaces that foster collective liberation and support students thriving academically, socially, and emotionally.
