The author reviews the extraordinary new volume Becoming One with the World by Kathleen Kesson. This book provides an excellent synthesis of the core principles of holistic pedagogy as well as an outstanding introduction to the philosophy and practice of neohumanist education.

Paul Freedman

Paul Freedman, EdD is the Coordinating Editor for the Holistic Education Review. He serves on the faculty of Union Institute and University’s TIES program. Paul is the founding Head of School at the Salmonberry School on Orcas Island. He is also currently a doctoral student at Fielding Graduate University studying holistic educational leadership.
